In
every ongoing four-week session, the children will not only learn basic
drawing & painting skills but will also use different materials to
understand colors, shapes, lines and curves. They will then embark on
learning the different techniques of painting. The children will also be
exposed to different textures and media. They will open their minds to
the creative world by using different materials to derive different
effects. This fun class is a good way to introduce your child to art, all
its elements and help in the development of gross motor skills.
Once these basics are covered the class moves on to the more complex
aspects of drawing and painting in its ongoing sessions.

Class Description:
|
Every
ongoing four-week session involves a detailed study of art concepts and
their applications. The children will learn about size, proportion,
light, perspective and shading through the study of nature, fruits and
vegetables. In the continuing sessions, they will gradually advance to
the human face and form with special emphasis on each body part. Further
, correct rendering techniques will also be taught to the children. The
children will also learn different techniques of painting and will
experiment working on different surfaces like glass tiles, foil, cloth,
wax candles, suede , leather etc. An introduction to the different styles
of various artists will also be discussed as part of this class. A
definitely more detailed approach to drawing and painting!!!
